Women's Basketball Earns Conference Victory Over Miami Dade

In a rematch of the top two teams from the Southern Conference a year ago, Palm Beach Women's Basketball led the entire game in one of the more complete victories on the year.

What stands out most about this matchup was the dominant 1st and 4th quarters by the Panthers. PBSC outscored Miami Dade 44-23 in the opening and closing quarters, which is an excellent recipe for success.

Reagan Hune posted a beastly line of 15 points, 14 rebounds, and 8 steals. Hune was a one-person wrecking crew in the paint, snatching 6 offensive boards.

Kaziah Ross played perhaps her best game as a Panther. Ross shot 6-13 from the field and led the team with 16 points to go along with a team-high 4 assists.

Caleese Ramirez finished with 14 points and did most of her damage from behind the arc, shooting an impressive 4-7 from 3-point range.

Izzy Allen tied for the team-high with 8 defensive rebounds, finished with 9 rebounds total and 6 points scored.

The Panthers are off until Friday when they take on Daytona State College at home. The game starts at 5:30 pm and will be streamed live via the women's basketball YouTube channel.
