Men's Basketball Defeats Rival Broward 75-72

PBSC Men's Basketball defeated Broward College in a thrilling 75-72 game. Head coach Richard Grant earned a win over his former team in an exciting, back-and-forth contest. Nick Edwards led the way with 23 points. Tim Holland recorded his fourth consecutive double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds.

Neither team was able to hold a comfortable lead—there were 17 lead changes throughout the game. The Panthers scored 21 points off Broward's 13 turnovers. PBSC outshot the Seahawks from behind the 3-point line, hitting nine of their 19 attempts from beyond the arc. Broward only connected on three of their 13 long-range shots.

Both basketball teams will be in action Saturday at Miami-Dade College. Women's Basketball will look to win their 10th consecutive game and further improve their chances of winning the Southern Conference. For Men's Basketball, a win over MDC would see them overtake the Sharks in the Southern Conference standings. Saturday's doubleheader will begin at 2 p.m.
