Panther Bats Stay Hot, Score 19 Runs

Baseball wins their 5th straight as they take down Scoutz Academy 19-6 in 7 innings.

In a game that was dominated by offense, Palm Beach bats found a way to score runs on mostly singles as the team only had 3 extra base hits.

Three players; Sean Arnal, Caden Marsters, and Skyler Schulz; drove in 3. Thee more; Danny Martinez, Gavin Bogdanchik, and Andre Juhasz; drive in 2. Palm Beach also walked 13 times, dwarfing the team's strikeout total (3).

7 players had at least 1 RBI.

In addition to the team's potent offense, PBSC received a solid start from Bryce Pratt. Pratt completed 4 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits and striking out 3. Ryan McCauley relieved Pratt and was pulled after 2/3 of an inning. Christian Mendez finished off the final 2.1 innings, giving up 1 run on 2 hits and struck out 3. 

Palm Beach broke the game open early with 5 runs in the 1st inning. The 1st four batters of the inning reached base. Sean Arnal opened up the scoring with a run-scoring single. Gavin Bogdanchik followed up with an RBI single of his own to increase the lead to 2-0. Sean Arnal would score on a fielder's choice off the bat of Caden Marsters. The killing blow was a Skyler Schulz double down the left field line with 2 outs that expanded the Panther lead to 5-0. 

Palm Beach looks for a 6th straight win as they take on ASA Miami on Friday.
