Baseball Ends Regular Season With Win

Palm Beach State Baseball ends the 2021 season with a 8-2 win over Eastern Florida. The Panthers earned their 31st victory, the most at PBSC since the 2018 season.

Brannon Mondragon went deep twice for the Panthers. His two home runs were numbers 10 and 11 for him on the season. That puts Mondragon in elite company, good enough for 5th in the state.

Jarret Bickel also went deep for the Panthers -- his 2nd.

Jaden Hennel, earning a pair of consecutive starts at 3rd base, drove in three. Hennel hit a triple in the bottom of the 8th to drive in two runs.

Trace Moore started on the bump and again went deep into the game. Moore pitched a solid 8.1 innings allowing just 1 run and striking out 12.

Palm Beach finished 3rd in the Southern Conference, just behind Indian River State College at 9-10. Congratulations to Miami Dade College who earned the Southern Conference championship and will appear in the FCSAA/Region VIII State Tournament alongside Indian River State College in Lakeland, FL.
