Baseball Crushes their Way to Series Victory Over Eastern FL

A complete victory, or should I say -- a complete game victory. Whatever you want to call it, PBSC Baseball played a well-rounded game en route to their 26th victory.

Starting with the obvious, Palm Beach ended the afternoon early with a walk-off double by Sal Grinstead to force the run rule in the 8th.

An incredibly efficient game by the offense, six batters had multiple hits, including Jarret Bickel who led the club with four. Brannon Mondragon had one hit, but was on-base four times, one day after reaching base in all five plate appearances.

Trace Moore once again shined in his lone start of the week, tossing yet another complete game. Moore allowed only three hits and zero earned runs, improving his record to 5-2. He was incredibly efficient, tossing 85 pitches in eight innings of work.

Panthers improve to 4-5 in Southern Conference play, just one game behind Indian River State College. Speaking of Indian River, Palm Beach opens up a four game series next week against Indian River, starting on Tuesday at 2:00 in Fort Pierce.
