MDC Men's Basketball Falls Short against Palm Beach State College Panthers

Miami, FL: On Wednesday, December 7, the Miami Dade College (MDC) Men's Basketball team took on the Palm Beach State College Panthers in an intense game that left fans on the edge of their seats. Despite their best efforts, the MDC Sharks unfortunately fell short, with the final score ending at 69-78.

 

The MDC Sharks demonstrated their skill and determination throughout the game, going head-to-head against the Panthers. The team showcased their talent with an impressive 30 rebounds, 12 assists, nine steals, and three blocks. Leading the charge was John Latimer, who erupted for 29 points, the highest total for the Sharks. Latimer also contributed three rebounds, three assists, and two steals, making a significant impact on both ends of the court.

 

Another standout player for the Sharks was Ibrahim Zahran, who made his presence known with a solid performance. Zahran contributed 11 points, six rebounds, two steals, two blocks, and one assist, showcasing his versatility and all-around game.

 

While the outcome of the game may not have been what the team had hoped for, the MDC Sharks continue to hone their skills and work towards future victories. 

 

The MDC Sharks' next game will take place this Friday, December 8, in Fort Myers, FL, where they will face off against Elgin Community College at the FSW Classic. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 pm, and the team is determined to bounce back and secure a win.
