LAKE WORTH, Fla.- Five players scored in double figures as the #25 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers rolled to their fourth straight win Wednesday night on the road in Lake Worth, overwhelming the Palm Beach State Panthers 98-61 to improve to 11-4 on the year.

The Bucs got off to a hot start against the Panthers and never looked back as Dezdrick Lindsay blew through the Palm Beach defense for an easy two to put them up 20-12 early on before Cole Franklin followed suit midway through the first to up the FSW lead to 30-14. The two teams played even through the final nine minutes of the half, but at the break it was all Purple and Aqua as the Bucs led Palm Beach 48-31.

It was more of the same as the second half got underway as an AJ Hopkins drilled a three to make it 55-34 five minutes into the period and a driving two from Jaehshon Thomas pushed the lead to 30 at 74-45 at the midway point of the second. The Bucs put it in cruise control from there, missing the century mark by just a bucket as they finished off a 98-61 final for their fourth straight victory.

Five different Bucs scored in double figures and four had 15 or more led by Thomas who put up 18, Franklin who had 17, and Lindsay who dropped in 16.  No other stats were available at time of release.

FSW extends their season long win streak to four as they improve to 11-4 on the year while Palm Beach falls to 11-7.

The Bucs turn their attention back to Citrus Conference play on Saturday when they return home to take on Hillsborough in a 2 PM tip from Suncoast Credit Union Arena.
