Women's Basketball Defeated on the Road

Wednesday afternoon in Lake Worth, Florida Indian River Women's Basketball faced Palm Beach State College in a highly contested matchup. In the first half, the Pioneers led going into halftime 29 – 24. After a slow start in third quarter the River was defeated 65-54.

The Pioneers was led by freshmen Jordan Boddie who scored 15 points and grabbed five rebounds. Sophomore JaMya Robinson earned her first double-double of the season with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Brialle Washington scored 11 points and added four rebounds.

"Tonight, was a tough one. I felt like we didn't compete for 4 quarters which costed us in the end. We will continue to get better and watch film" Coach Robinson mentioned.

The Pioneers are on the road during Thanksgiving Break heading to Pensacola to face #10 Pensacola State on Black Friday and Bishop State on Saturday.
