Ron Philo Named Head Men's Golf Coach
Ron Philo, Jr. is among the most accomplished PGA Professionals working in the game. He brings to Palm Beach State a wealth of knowledge and experience.
The 2006 PGA Professional National Championship Winner has won numerous titles throughout his career as well as earning recognition for work in the industry as an instructor and club professional.
Ron is a five time PGA Section Champion, Five time PGA Section Player of the Year, a PGA Section Teacher of the Year, PGA Section Merchandiser of the Year, a PGA Chapter Patriot Award winner. Ron has also been recognized by Golf Digest and Golf Magazine for his work as an instructor.
Ron comes from a golf family. His grandfather, father, uncle, sister, cousin as well as his spouse are all golf professionals. This history and connection to the game provide him with an expansive network from which he can draw to bring talent to the new Men's Golf Program.
"I'm thrilled to be joining the PBSC Family to reignite the golf program here and work alongside my wife as we develop the talents of young golfers. The school's history of producing National Championship Teams is something I believe is overdue and I am anxious to bring another title back to Palm Beach where the game is such integral part of the community."
