14 PBSC Athletes Named to NJCAA All-Academic Teams

Lake Worth, FL -- 14 PBSC Athletes were named to the National Junior College Athletic Association's (NJCAA) All-Academic Teams for the 2019-2020 School Year.

The NJCAA All-Academic teams recognize outstanding academic achievement as all named to the teams have a 3.60 Grade-Point-Average (GPA) or higher. Those named to the 1st Team had a perfect 4.0 GPA for the 2019-2020 academic year. To qualify for the 2nd Team, student-athletes must have between a 3.80 and a 3.99 GPA for 2019-2020. Those named to the 3rd team qualify with a GPA between 3.60-3.79.

All five PBSC athletic teams are represented. Women's Basketball and Softball each had five representatives named to the All-Academic Teams, which tied for the most amongst the PBSC sports offerings.

Katie Auger - Volleyball

Destiny Cornelius - Softball

Haley Kadur - Softball

Kaelei Koenig - Women's Basketball

Amaya Small - Women's Basketball

Joe Smith - Baseball
