Bio

Coach Colvin has been with the Palm Beach State family for more than a decade as both assistant coach and head coach of the Panthers' Court Volleyball team.

In 2022, Coach Colvin will become the first-ever head coach of Palm Beach State's brand-new Beach Volleyball team.

2019-2020 saw the Panthers register a record of 7-14. Six players on the 2019-2020 squad were named to the All-Southern Conference Teams. Madison Monahan & Sydney Ashner were named to the 1st Team while Martha Torres, Bella Magrino, Madison Barton, and Aleksandra Hamuda were named to the 2nd Team.

During the 2016 season, Drew coached the Panthers to a conference championship and a regional tournament berth. The following year, the Panthers were conference runner-up and once again earned a regional tournament berth.

Drew graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a degree in Christian Social Ministry and a minor in Exercise Science. While at PBAU, Drew started his indoor volleyball career - first with the men’s club team followed by men’s varsity team.

The one year PBAU fielded a men’s varsity program, Drew was the captain of the team and was named a NCCAA Division 1 First Team All-American. Following Drew’s indoor playing career, he joined the coaching staff with PBAU’s women’s team as an assistant and later the associate of the Sailfish. Drew has also coached with Palm Beach Juniors Volleyball Club and Sideout Volleyball Club. He has earned a CAP I coaching certification through USAV. As well as his indoor experience, Drew has also been a consistent open-level beach player since 2000.
