The Panthers Volleyball team has started the postseason the same way they finished the regular season, with a win.
Coming off a 9 game winning streak to finish the season and capture the Sun-Lakes Conference South Division title, the Panthers wasted no time letting South Florida State College know that the winning streak was going to continue. A hot Panthers team jumped out to an early lead and put SFSC away 25-12 in the 1st set.
The Panthers had to battle back from an 18-11 deficit to come back and win the 2nd set 25-21.
The Panthers looked to finish the contest quick in the 3rd as they got out to a 23-10 lead, but SFSC battled back and scored 7 of the next 8 points to make it 24-17 Palm Beach. The Panthers closed it out with the next point.
The Panthers advance to play #1 seeded Pensacola State College at 4:30pm on Friday November 4th. The Pirates head into this match-up riding a 14 game win streak themselves.
