Izzy Allen Earns All-State Honors

After an impressive freshman season, Palm Beach State College guard Izzy Allen earned a selection to the FCSAA Women's Basketball All-State Team. She is one of only 12 players selected to the team. Throughout the season, Allen led Palm Beach State College in several statistical categories.

Allen was a key player for PBSC, starting 26 games for the Panthers. She led the team with 12.6 points per game. Her ability to drive to the basket led to many trips to the free throw line; Allen led the team with 69 free throws made and 106 free throw attempts.

Allen's keen defensive abilities also contributed to her selection. With a team-leading 2.7 steals per game and 1.6 blocks per game, Allen's defensive efforts were crucial to PBSC's successful season. Allen also led the team with six rebounds per game.

In conference play, Allen was the most accurate PBSC shooter. She shot 53.8 percent from the field.

Izzy Allen is the first PBSC Women's Basketball player to be selected to the All-State team since Alexis Jean and Jonika Garvin represented the Panthers for the 2016-17 season.

The FCSAA All-State team consists of 12 of the top women's basketball players selected from any of the 18 teams in Florida.
