Malik Curry Named NJCAA All-American

Lake Worth, FL -- Men's Basketball Sophomore Guard Malik Curry was named to the NJCAA All-America 2nd Team.

Curry, started 30 games for the Panthers leading the team in multiple offensive categories. In the conference, Curry finished 2nd in both points-per-game and assists. Nationally, Curry finished 13th in scoring and 16th in assists.

Curry was one of three players in the state of Florida to receive All-America honors. Northwest Florida State's Chris Duarte and Florida SouthWestern's Charles Manning Jr. were named to the 1st and 3rd teams, respectively. Curry was the only member from the Southern Conference to receive All-America recognition.

Curry is the 1st All-American during the Martin McCann era of Palm Beach State Basketball.

Add this to the many awards Malik Curry has received for his remarkable play during the 2018-19 season. He was twice named FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 Player of the Week for Men's Basketball. He also received Conference Player of the Year for the Southern Conference, 1st Team All-Conference, and was recently named to the FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 All-Tournament Team.
