Panthers Win 5th In-A-Row
Lake Worth, FL -- Panthers Baseball win their 5th in-a-row, this time defeating St. Thomas JV in 9 innings, 7-3.
Palm Beach fell behind early, 1-0 in the first inning, but never trailed after that. In the bottom of the 2nd, Ricky Neyman singled home 2 runners to take the lead 2-1. Next batter, Jefrey Encarnacion, bunted to third base and advanced two bases on a throwing error by the 3rd baseman. Ricky Neyman scored on the same play to increase the Panther lead to 3-1. Jisjar Clotida drilled a line drive triple to right field and scored on an error by the right fielder, increasing the lead 5-1.
In the bottom of the 6th, Ray Sanchez singled home Joe Smith to push the Palm Beach lead to 6-1. Raynin combined Sanchez would score on a wild pitch, scoring the Panthers' 7th run of the game.
Starting Pitcher Alex Dominguez tossed 5 innings, allowing 1 unearned run, 0 earned runs, and struck out 6.
James Meyers and Max Charnin combined to toss the final 4 frames. Charnin and Meyers each allowed 1 run in relief.

The Panthers' record improves to 19-12. They will have the weekend off, but be back on Monday against Keiser University JV at 3:00 at the Lake Worth campus.
