Athletics Finishes 22-23 Academic Year with 3.1 GPA
Fresh off of winning the 1st ever NJCAA National Championship in Beach Volleyball, the Palm Beach State College Beach Volleyball team also finished 1st in Team GPA. The Panthers volleyball team finished the 22-23 Academic Year with a 3.68 cumulative GPA. All 12 members of the team finished with over a 3.0 GPA.
As a department, the Panthers athletic teams finished with a 3.107 cumulative GPA. The Panthers finished with 8 student-athletes having a perfect 4.0 GPA. Fifty (50) student-athletes finished the academic year with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Indoor Volleyball (3.35 GPA) and Women's Basketball (3.2 GPA) join Beach Volleyball as being named a NJCAA All-Academic Team.
Twenty-two student-athletes were named to an NJCAA All-Academic Team. On the All-Academic First Team (4.0 GPA), were Bryce Pratt (Baseball), Lola Vidamour (Beach Volleyball), Nikolina Dragojlovic (Indoor Volleyball), Allison Bryant (Indoor Volleyball and Beach Volleyball), Anthony Ruiz (Baseball), and Ashley Thornton (Women's Basketball).
On the All-Academic Second Team (3.80-3.99 GPA) were Alexandria Keane (Women's Basketball), Kyandra Poitier (Women's Basketball), Nina Vallesi (Indoor Volleyball and Beach Volleyball), Annie Messler (Indoor Volleyball), Nadav Naim (Men's Basketball), and Ana Paula Fallas Cruz (Beach Volleyball).
On the All-Academic Third Team (3.60-3.79 GPA) were Maya Suchy (Beach Volleyball), Dena Otte (Indoor Volleyball and Beach Volleyball), Angelina Botolino (Beach Volleyball), Ashlyn Banton (Indoor Volleyball), Giancarlo DiGiacomo (Baseball), David Ramos (Baseball), Alice Schneider (Indoor Volleyball and Beach Volleyball), and Dylan Maire (Baseball).
