10 Panthers Named to All-Southern Conference Teams

Ten Palm Beach State College basketball players were selected to All-Southern Conference teams for the 2019-20 season. Three players were honored with a first-team selection.

Tim Holland earned a selection to the All-Southern Conference first team. Holland averaged a double-double per game, with 15.6 points and 11.1 rebounds per game.

Alma Danielsson and Izzy Allen were each selected to the women's All-Southern Conference first team. During the 2019-20 season, Danielsson was the second most accurate 3-point shooter in Florida, making 42.1 percent of her long-range shots.

Izzy Allen had a dominant freshman season, earning a first-team spot. In her first season at Palm Beach State, Allen led the team in points, rebounds, steals and blocks.

Three players from the Men's Basketball team were selected to the All-Southern Conference second team. Nick Edwards, Tyrus Johnson and Emanuel Hylton represent PBSC as second-team members. Edwards and Johnson were the two Panthers players to play all 31 games this season. Emanuel Hylton was the most accurate 3-point shooter on the team, shooting 41.7 percent from long distance.

The PBSC Women's Basketball team had four players selected to the All-Southern Conference second team. Stina Rehn-Andersson, Caleese Ramirez, Amaya Small and Maria Benitez-Zayas all earned second-team nods. Caleese Ramirez had a promising freshman season, scoring 8.5 points per game. Stina Rehn-Andersson was a 3-point threat off the bench; 42 of her 52 made field goals were from long distance. Amaya Small and Maria Benitez-Zayas played in all 31 games. Benitez-Zayas led the Panthers with 2.6 assists per game.
