Jisjar Clotida

The Palm Beach State College Athletic Department has named Jisjar Clotida Player of the Month.

Clotida leads the Panthers in batting average (.380), which places him 12th in the conference. He is 2nd on the team in on-base percentage, 3rd in RBI, and has nearly walked (15) as many times as he has struck out (16).

One could certainly argue that Clotida is the Panthers' best pure hitter and one of the best pure hitters in the conference, as evidenced by his batting average, on-base percentage, and plate discipline.

During the Month of March, Clotida batted .367 with 1 home run and 11 RBI. He walked 4 times and struck out 4 times. In April, Clotida is batting .344, scored 4 runs, with 6 RBI in 8 games played so far.
